By lbelcher | March 27, 2012

Dear Fifth Grade,

We have learned so much about our Solar System this past week. During computer lab, your task is to research more about each planet.

You will need your planet booklet to help you. For each planet, you and your partner will need to find:

1. How far each planet it from the Sun.

2. How many moons each planet has.

3. If each planet has rings.

4. The color of each planet.

5. A fun fact about each planet.

All of these questions are in your planet booklet. You will be responsible for writing down the answers in your planet booklet. You do not need to respond to this blog. :-) Below are some links to help you:

Ms. Shellman: Due 3/14

By lbelcher | March 12, 2012

Dear Lucky Students,

You are going to LOVE having Ms. Shellman as your teacher for the rest of the school year! Although I will miss you all while I’m on maternity leave, I KNOW that you will be learning and having fun for the rest of fifth grade.

Your assignment is to write a comment to Ms. Shellman about yourself. Please be detailed, using at least 5-8 complete sentences. For example, something unique about Ms. Shellman is that she is a middle child. What is unique or special about you? She is VERY excited to get to know all of you personally.
