What various factors led to the transformation of Rome from a Republic to and Empire?
What were the various factors that led to the decline and fall of the Roman Empire?
To what extent can these factors be applied to other empires, past and present?
What was the nature of Roman Rule?

Spanish Classes- Finals Information

All of you Spanish Finals sections will be given during 3- regular periods on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, June 5, 6, and 7. June 8th is our last day of class together and we will review the final answers together. Review days will be Monday, June 4, Friday, June 1, and Thursday, May 31st.

All Missing/Late/Redo Work must be turned in by noon on May 31st- NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

I will be gone during the last week of school and you will have a Spanish speaking substitute who will guide you in activities that will count towards your grade so do not plan on skipping.

Your finals will be Multiple choice for reading, writing, and listening and they will be worth approximately 2-3 times more than an average assignment/quiz. Each day you will be given a different section of the test and you will not be allowed to go back to previous days’ work. Your oral portion will be given to you a few days ahead of time so that you can prepare accordingly.

Your finals will cover second semester material in depth specifically but remember all of your previous knowledge is required to help you be successful on the final. As you begin studying, review previous material as well.

Spanish 1 final is Chapter 3b-7a.

Spanish 3 final is Chapter 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8.

This week you will be writing an in class essay on Greece.
Questions to answer- Why is Ancient Greece widely regarded as the Cradle of Western Civilization? What have been Greece’s greatest legacies?
Use any and all information from the Unit 2 Greece Packet and Chapter 5 in the textbook. Make sure to cite information appropriately in you essay.
